Practicing isn't always an easy task. It can become a chore very quickly. One powerful approach that helps, is to create a routine!

If we are accustomed to playing the drums everyday, preferably at a predetermined time, always with the same succession of exercises or subjects within the time of the practice, we can settle into a momentum. It takes the negotiating part out of it. Remember, it is better to practice for 30 minutes every day, than to practice a few hours once per week.
